Annual Freedom Boat Club Franchise Meeting held in Naples, FL. Expectations regarding the future growth of the Freedom Boat Club franchise network are outstanding!

7/4/2007	New Boats
New Boat Available! A wakeboarder's delight! New Starcraft Aurora 2410 models with wake towers just came in. Now members can have the comfort of a deck boat and the fun of a serious watersports outing! This model has it all, from a great look on the outside with canary yellow striping and matching covers to the best ameninties in the cockpit and under the engine cover.

New office! FBC has custom built a state of the art floating office, right on the dock! Existing members please stop by and say hello! The new space is also more convenient means of meeting prospective members.

1/10/2005	New locations!
New locations! Now members are able to use boats in Apollo Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Vero Beach, FL; Panacea, FL; Isle of Capri, FL; and Boston, MA in addition to all of the locations opened previously. The word from the annual FBC conference is that it is likely that 10 or more additional locations will be opening this year alone!

9/15/2004	Reciprocal Use/Labor Day
Remember that boats are available for use on Lanier year round. The winter is also a great time to try other clubs! If members wish to scheulde a boat at another location, all they need to do is call us with the date, place, and type of boat wanted and we'll make the arrangements! Thanks for all who attended the Labor Day Social!

New 24' deck boats and pontoon boat have arrived! We took posession of the three 2004's today. They will be rigged and ready for use next week! See the boats page for engine specs…..

2/23/2004	2004 Fleet Update:
2004 Fleet Update: 6 New Boats Arriving in Late March. Bigger is better! By popular demand, we have ordered two new 24’ I/O deckboats and a 24’ pontoon boat direct from the factory. All are 2004 models and will come with Mercury engines, CD players, and all the extras. We are also in the process of purchasing an updated Cruiser to replace the Sea Ray. We have been looking at a late model 28' Rinker with AC/Heat, Microwave, 2 Showers, Head, and 6'4" headroom in cabin, but the search continues and suggestions are welcome. Finally, we have negotiated a deal to add two more three-seat waverunners. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic season at FBC Lake Lanier, and there will be more to come as the membership grows!

2/5/2004	Lifetime Membership Status
The lifetime unlimited membership will remain available for the 2004 season, as long we continue to expand the fleet to allow space for new members. However, Lake Lanier will be implementing a new price structure consisting of higher membership fees and dues breakdowns March 22nd, 2004. If you are a current member considering upgrade or a prospective member considering joining the club, NOW IS THE TIME! FBC announces the creation of the Member Referral Program. Member satisfaction is our primary concern! If you have comments or suggestions on how to improve the club, please email or call anytime. To show our gratitude for your successful referrals, members will receive a credit towards their dues!

7/13/2003	Wakeboarding Boat Added To Fleet
New boat! The members and management overwhelmingly selected a wakeboarding boat with tower for the club! We closed on a 21’ American Skier professional ski and wakeboard boat this afternoon. It has a state-of-the-art ballast system which can add or remove 500 lbs to the hull weight at the touch of a button! Now you can board behind a serious wake and go slalom skiing in the same afternoon! The 5.7L electronic fuel injected engine is powerful enough to pull anyone and take the gang with you! Other features include a CD Player, dual speedometers, large storage locker, and comfortable seating for 6 people.

6/28/2003	July 4th Celebration
For the first time, Freedom Boat Club and Lanier Sailing Academy celebrated the Fourth of July together! The festivities began at 4:00 pm with a shrimp boil, music, and drinks. Then, an hour before dusk, members from both clubs sailed and motored to the Three Sisters Islands to view the fireworks. The boats returned to the dock around 11:30 pm. What a party! Management of both clubs hope to make this an annual event!

2/15/2003	New Freedom Boat Club Locations!!
Fantastic news! Current memberships have just become more valuable since FBC just became a national franchise operation last month! Several new locations are already in place for the 2003 season, including W. Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Long Island. The forecast for continued growth of the FBC network is outstanding, and more locations will be franchised quickly and easily. For more information and links, click on the locations tab.

6/1/2002	New Boat!
THE VOTES ARE IN! Members have overwhelmingly selected another deck boat for our next addition to the fleet. We’re looking at buying a 24’ inboard/outboard and hope to have it here in early June!

5/12/2002	Jet Ski Addition
Great news! We just purchased a three seat Yamaha jet ski for the club! Check it out in the boats section. This means we can buy yet another boat to start the busy season – stay tuned!

4/20/2002	Spring is Here
The lake level is up again! It’s only 5 feet down from full and the 2002 forecast is excellent. Even when the level is low, FBC members can always boat in style. While some of our heartier members used the club this winter to catch striper, most are just starting to come out of hibernation. They will vote on new additions to the club in the beginning of May. It looks like there’s enough support already for at least one jet ski, and we will add another boat as new members start to join. The choices include another deck boat, a center console, and a bigger pontoon.

4/15/2002	We've Moved!
Freedom Boat Club is moving its offices to Holiday Marina. We have purchased a 43-foot houseboat to serve as the new office right on Z dock. Hopefully it won’t be long before it’s refurbished and in the water!

6/29/2001	Cruiser added to fleet
Great news! The cruiser is here – and just in time for the July 4th holiday! It’s a 1991 27’ Sea Ray Sundancer with a 350 HP Mercruiser Bravo II V8 engine. Able to sleep 6 people, this new addition has the features you’re looking for in an overnight boat. It truly is the perfect boat for special occasions or just a casual cruise any time of year.

4/16/2001	Spring Update
Spring heralds periods of warm weather and rising lake levels! Members are already out on the water fishing, cruising and having fun. Soon FBC will be in full swing, which means yet another boat is on its way. By the end of the month, our members will be zipping across the lake in a brand new 21' deck boat with all the extras. Due to the overwhelming response to the club, FBC will limit the number of members it signs up this summer.

8/3/2000	Ski Boat Addition
FBC's latest addition to the fleet arrived on July 22nd, a 19' Sylvan Inboard/Outboard Ski Boat, much to the delight of our skiers, wake boarders, and tubers! See boats link for details. The social calendar is winding down for the season, but there are still a few events scheduled, like sunset cruises and concerts at Lake Lanier Islands.

5/27/2000	Grand Opening
FBC Lake Lanier opens for business May 27, 2000. Lanier's only private membership club. Members are already enjoying unlimited boating on Lake Lanier and the Gulf of Mexico for less than $100 a month!
